This daybed was designed by Charlotte Perriand, renowned French architect and designer, who drew it to furnish the ski resort Les Arcs 1800 in the 1970s. It is derived from a bed she designed with Le Corbusier for the Maison du Brésil in 1959. The original purpose of this bed was to serve as the low portion of a bunk bed.  Structured from solid pine with four feet, it is accompanied by a mattress, a cushion in foam covered in beige linen.

Provenance: Les Arc 1800.
Normal wear and tear due to age - good vintage condition.
