This Pine Sandoz stool, designed by Charlotte Perriand, features a thick and rounded seat, showcasing her signature style. The wood has developed a decent-aged patina over time, and some repairs have been done. The stool is known as the "Sandoz" stool and was originally created in 1955. Perriand used it in her own chalet in Méribel. In 1962, she used this design for the Swiss pharmaceutical company, Sandoz Laboratories.

This particular piece comes from Italy but was produced in France and dates back to the 1950s. It has the remarkable joinery that is very typical for the work of Charlotte Perriand.
