A rare pair of authentic PJ-SI-62-A camelback armchairs by Pierre Jeanneret - Sometimes named the PJ-010617 teak armchair.

This specific pair was used at the State Bank of India (SBI/PB/BR-…)

Armchair in solid teak with seat and backrest in braided canework. "Bridge" -type leg assembly with flat, profiled legs joined at the front by armrest tilted towards the rear. Tilted backrest with frame and canework, supported by the armrests with a central leg joined to the seat in the lower part.

Provenance: Reception rooms for public buildings and the Punjab University in Chandigarh, private homes in Chandigarh. Rare: 10-30 ex.
Photos of the current and original state - Comes with authenticity certificate and a fitting nubuck leather pillow colour: soft brown/beige.
