Shepherd stools or milk stools were first seen in early 15th century paintings by the Flemish Primitives and they have been interpreted since the late 19th and early 20th century, by different modernist designers such as Arne Hovmand-Olsen, Axel Einar Hjorth, Charlotte Perriand, Pierre Jeanneret, and many more.
It's both an aesthetic and a functional piece that suits any interior.
